More control over your recordings: owners and admins can now decide who is allowed to delete recordings in their organization. Until now, anyone with access to a recording could delete it for every participant.
This is useful if recordings have to be kept, for example for documentation, or if you want to make sure nobody deletes a recording by mistake.
Confluence without the manual export: Sally can now file your meetings in Confluence on her own. After each meeting, an automation creates a new page with the summary and adds it beneath a parent page you pick in advance, such as a customer's meeting notes page.
Tags decide which meetings go where, so every customer call is filed under the right customer without anyone having to think about it.
More room for video and transcript: the full screen view of the transcript has been reworked. The video grows as you drag the divider, the speakers sit right below it, and a double-click on any word plays the recording from exactly that point.
This helps most when you listen back to a long meeting and correct the transcript as you go.
From summary to next step: meeting templates now have three new section types. Table, Follow-up appointment and Email deliver structured results that you can work with right away, instead of plain text.
A table with columns you define collects open items with owner and due date, the same way in every meeting. An agreed follow-up meeting becomes an appointment or a calendar file in one click. And the follow-up email is already drafted, with recipients, subject and body.
Hybrid meetings, sorted: when several people share one room and one device, you can now set the meeting to Hybrid so Sally tells their voices apart and gives each person their own name, instead of one shared room name 🚀
Until now, everyone in the room reached the transcript under a single name, because the room is one participant in the meeting. Now you choose Hybrid, several people share a room on the appointment. Sally then separates the voices from the room, so the summary and the quotes land with the right person.
The Sally Public API is live: everything Sally captures about a meeting is now available as JSON, ready to build straight into your own tools 🚀

Since Sally 2.0 the Recorder has been running on Windows. From today there is a second version, for macOS 12 or newer, on Apple Silicon and on Intel alike. Both come from the same download page in Sally, and the page marks the one that fits the machine you are sitting at.
