Recording files are now accessible on Android. ๐Ÿ“ฑ

The latest version of the Sally Android app keeps your .pcm recording files in a dedicated SallyRecordings folder for two months, so you can always grab them, listen back, or forward them to support if an upload fails.

๐Ÿš€ What's new?โ€‹

Until now, the internal app storage on Android prevented direct access to recording files. With the latest Google Play release that changes:

  • Dedicated folder โ€“ every recording is saved as a .pcm file under Internal Storage โ†’ Download โ†’ SallyRecordings
  • No auto-delete after upload โ€“ files stay in the folder for 2 months before being removed
  • Easy to share โ€“ connect your phone via USB or use the file manager to forward recordings to our support team
  • Available on the latest app version โ€“ update Sally from the Google Play Store to get the new behavior

Why it mattersโ€‹

If a recording fails to upload or you simply want a local backup, you no longer have to rely on the cloud copy alone. The local .pcm files give you a safety net whenever something goes wrong on the network or the device.
