May 26, 2026 - Android Recordings

Recording files are now accessible on Android. ๐ฑ
The latest version of the Sally Android app keeps your .pcm recording files in a dedicated SallyRecordings folder for two months, so you can always grab them, listen back, or forward them to support if an upload fails.
๐ What's new?โ
Until now, the internal app storage on Android prevented direct access to recording files. With the latest Google Play release that changes:
- Dedicated folder โ every recording is saved as a
.pcmfile under Internal Storage โ Download โ SallyRecordings - No auto-delete after upload โ files stay in the folder for 2 months before being removed
- Easy to share โ connect your phone via USB or use the file manager to forward recordings to our support team
- Available on the latest app version โ update Sally from the Google Play Store to get the new behavior
Why it mattersโ
If a recording fails to upload or you simply want a local backup, you no longer have to rely on the cloud copy alone. The local .pcm files give you a safety net whenever something goes wrong on the network or the device.
๐ Step-by-step instructions are in the On-Site Meetings guide.
