Professional secrecy is here: anyone bound by § 203 StGB can have their data stored separately from all other customers 🚀

Lawyers, notaries, doctors, psychotherapists and tax advisors answer to a chamber that wants to know where their client data sits. From today you can request that answer yourself, in the privacy settings, and Sally moves your account to a server that holds professional secrecy holders only.

🚀 What's new?

• A separate server: meeting data, recordings, transcripts and summaries move to an environment reserved for professional secrecy holders, at Hetzner in Falkenstein, Germany
• The confidentiality obligation is in the DPA: Sally commits to secrecy under § 203 Abs. 4 StGB in the data processing agreement, so there is no second document for you to collect and keep in sync
• Requested in a few clicks: the owner opens the Professional secrecy card, fills in four entries plus a confirmation, and sends the request
• The card carries the proof: profession, legal basis, data storage and data center, in the wording you can pass on to your chamber unchanged
• The move runs at night: your account stays readable the whole time, only changes are paused for a few minutes, and the card shows where the process stands
