October 27, 2026: Sally tells you when her Teams or Zoom password expires
Sally now notices when the password of her Teams or Zoom account has expired, and tells you right away. If Microsoft or Zoom asks for a new password, Sally can no longer sign in with the account you stored for her and can't join meetings that require this sign-in.
Sally detects this on the first failed join. Owners and admins learn about it straight away and can fix it in a few steps.
What's new?
- Status in the calendar: the affected appointments show Password expired
- One email per incident: all owners and admins of your company account receive the email "Sally needs a new password", even if several meetings fail in the meantime. The button in the email takes you straight to the right card
- Warning in the Meeting Assistant: the Microsoft Teams credentials or Zoom credentials card shows Password expired and since when a new password has been required
How to fix it
- Sign in once with Sally's account at Microsoft or Zoom and choose a new password
- In Sally, open Settings → Meeting Assistant, enter the new password on the matching card and click Save
The warning disappears as soon as you save. Meetings that failed in the meantime can't be recorded retroactively. To keep it from happening again, turn off password expiry for Sally's account.
