October 21, 2026: Webhook V3.1
Webhooks now tell you which section of your meeting template an entry belongs to. With version 3.1, every entry in sections carries the name of its section as you set it in the meeting template, for example "Risks", plus the ID of that section.
Existing webhooks stay on 3.0 and do not get the new fields until you switch them yourself.
What's new?
sectionTitle: the name of the section from the meeting template. All entries of one section carry the same value, so your target system can group them without guessing.meetingTemplateSectionId: the ID of that section in the meeting template, for a fixed mapping that keeps working when you rename the section.responsibleUserId: for tasks, the Sally user of the person responsible, if they could be matched.
Everything else in the body stays exactly as it is in 3.0.
Why it matters
Until now the only heading in sections was title. That is the heading of the single entry, which Sally derives from the content while summarizing, not the name of the section in your template. If your automation sorts topics, decisions or tasks into fixed fields, it can now rely on sectionTitle or meetingTemplateSectionId instead.
How to switch
- New webhooks you create in Sally start on 3.1.
- Existing webhooks stay on 3.0. To switch one, open it with the pencil icon and choose 3.1 (latest) under Body contents › Payload version. All other settings stay as they are, and you can switch back to 3.0 the same way.
- Webhooks registered through the public API start on 3.0. You switch them to 3.1 in Sally.
Make sure your target system accepts the three new fields before you switch.
The full field reference and a copyable example for both versions are in the webhook guide.
