Today is the day: Sally 2.0 is live and open to everyone 🚀

This is not the kind of update that moves a few buttons around. We rebuilt Sally from the inside. As of today she runs on our own language model. And every byte of your meeting data sits in German data centers. No third party involved in the processing. No personal data leaving the EU.

We have been working towards this for a long time. Everything else we have shipped over the past months comes with it.

You can see the difference as soon as you open Sally: the interface has a fresh, more modern design. The familiar structure stays as it was, so nobody has to find their way around again.

🔒 Our own model, our own data centers​

  • Our own language model in production: From today Sally works with its own large language model. Microsoft Azure OpenAI is no longer part of the processing, and every step of the inference happens inside Sally's own infrastructure
  • Hosting only in Germany: All storage and processing now runs exclusively in German data centers at Hetzner. Personal data never leaves the EU, and the components that still ran in other EU regions are gone

For you that means one less question in every data protection review. Both are documented in detail under subprocessors and transfers.

✨ What else is new​

  • Meeting Recorder for Windows: The app runs in the background, notices on its own when a conversation is happening on your computer, records your microphone along with the computer audio and uploads everything to Sally
  • Ask Sally: The chat that answers from your own recordings, appointments and tasks, on every page
  • Meeting templates: Your own structure for every kind of meeting, with 30 ready-made templates, draft versions and a section library
  • Tags: Shared, color-coded labels for your meetings, set automatically from a keyword in the title
  • Four new transcription models: Owners and admins decide which one the organization uses by default. A single appointment can still differ
  • 103 supported languages for the transcript, with the speakers told apart automatically

Thank you for coming this far with us. Sally 2.0 is the version we set out to build from the start. As of today it is open to you. And we are looking forward to everything still to come, because we have big ideas.
