September 26, 2026: Public API

The Sally Public API is live: everything Sally captures about a meeting is now available as JSON, ready to build straight into your own tools 🚀

The recording and its transcript, the AI summary split into the sections of your meeting template, the tasks that came out of the conversation and the people who were there, all through one REST API. And it has its own section in the Help Center now, with a quickstart, guides and a full reference.

🚀 What's new?

• Everything as JSON: recordings, transcripts, summaries, tasks and participants, all under https://api.sally.io with the version prefix /v1.0
• React the moment a meeting is done: a webhook fires when a summary is ready, so your system can start whatever comes next
• Bring in recordings from other systems: hand Sally an audio or video file and get the transcript and the summary back
• Keep tasks in sync: push the action items Sally found into the task system your team already uses
• Personal access tokens: create a token, pick the company account it may address and you are ready for your first call
