You can now mark calendar events as private, and Sally will respect it.

If you set a meeting as "private" in your calendar, Sally will automatically skip it and not join. This gives you full control over which meetings Sally attends.

What's new?

Sally now recognizes events marked as private in your connected calendar (Outlook, Google, or Apple Calendar). When an event is set to private, Sally will not automatically join that meeting, even if your participation mode would normally include it.

How it works

  1. Open your calendar app (Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar)
  2. Create or edit a meeting
  3. Set the event visibility to "Private"
  4. Sally will automatically skip this event

No changes needed in Sally. As long as the event is marked as private in your calendar, Sally will respect that setting.

Why it matters

Not every meeting needs to be recorded. Whether it's a sensitive HR conversation, a personal appointment, or a confidential 1:1, you can now simply mark the event as private in your calendar and Sally will stay out. No need to change your participation mode or manually remove Sally afterward.
