All tasks of a meeting now go to Microsoft Planner in one step. From the Tasks section, Sally creates a separate Planner task for every task she recognized, each with its own plan, bucket, assignees, due date and priority.

And whether you send one task or all of them, every Planner task can now have several assignees, just like in Planner itself.

Create tasks in Planner panel with Plan for all set to Marketing, suggested buckets and the open Assigned to menu with three people ticked
(1) Plan for all, (2) suggested bucket, (3) assignees, (4) create the tasks

What's new?

  • Create tasks in Planner: hover over the Tasks section, click the plug icon in its header and choose Create tasks in Planner
  • Plan for all: one plan for every task at once. Sally suggests the matching bucket for each task, and you can still change plan and bucket per row
  • Assignee prefilled: Sally fills in the person she recognized as responsible, provided they are a member of the plan
  • Several assignees: up to 20 people per task, both in the new panel and in Create task in Planner for a single entry
  • Only what you need: untick the tasks you don't want and create the rest with one click, for example Create 3 tasks
